Our holiday accommodation has been created through the painstaking restoration and conversion of the farm's original Grade Two listed stone hayloft, which probably dates back to the early eighteenth century. Attention has been paid to every detail to preserve the intrinsic character of the building.

The accommodation, designed for two people, is reverse-level and consists of:-

On the ground floor:

Bedroom with double bed

Bathroom with shower and full length bath

Separate laundry, drying and storage room

On the first floor:

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher

Living and dining room

Private garden area with decking, barbecue and access to the farmland

There is also:

Full central heating

Free wireless broadband connection

Ample off-road parking (with space for a small boat/trailer etc)

We don't want your holiday  to be hard work, so you will find the accommodation caringly and thoughtfully kitted out to a high standard.  The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker with ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge with frozen food compartment, and microwave.

The bathroom has been planned with pampering in mind, so you can lie back in the full length bath or invigorate yourself under the powerful thermo-controlled shower, just as the mood takes you.

In the bedroom, soothing natural colours, an iron bedstead and high quality linens complete the sumptuous and luxurious feel. A fluffy feather and down duvet is provided as standard, but can be changed for man-made fibre for allergy sufferers on request.

The upstairs living and dining room, with its open beams, sunlight shafting through windows on three sides, and original rustic furniture, is warm and relaxing.

There is no television in the hayloft (this is how the vast majority of our guests like it), but bring a laptop for watching DVDs or linking into our wireless network for free internet access.  A mini-hi-fi system with CD and radio is also provided.

French doors lead from the upper floor to the private self-contained garden, where decking on two sides traps the sun for most of the day and evening – perfect for enjoying a relaxing barbecue and a drink, or perhaps a lazy breakfast on a summer morning.

In winter you can wrap up warm, sit out under the stars and see them as you may never have done before.  Chapel View is generally very sheltered; rarely troubled by the blustery winds that come off the coast in the more exposed parts of Cornwall.

From the garden, guests have direct access to a farm walk, and are welcome to roam our smallholding, with access onto the network of footpaths and quiet country lanes that surround us.

A separate laundry and storage room is available for guests and contains an automatic washing machine, large tumble dryer, indoor drying lines and secure storage space for any large equipment you may wish to bring with you such as bikes, fishing, watersports or riding gear.  Extra freezer space is also available on request.

In the interest of all our guests, smoking is not permitted at Chapel View Farm

Also, as we are a working farm, we regret that we are unable to accept pets
