Chapel View Farm is a 5 acre smallholding, which we use especially to provide a range of produce for our guests to enjoy and discover what the freshest, real food tastes like.  We grow fruit, vegetables, salads, herbs and flowers, including speciality products such as asparagus and soft fruit.  We also have a few hens who enjoy a lifestyle that puts commercial free-range stocking densities – even those on organic farms - to shame.  The quality of the eggs proves that it’s worth it.  Our hens are beautifully healthy and lay fantastic eggs with rich golden yolks full of flavour.

From time to time we also keep goats to graze the fields and provide us with some entertainment with their characterful company.

We rear rare breed, free range pigs too, producing our own range of succulent pork, bacon and sausages.  Some will be waiting for you on arrival; ready, along with some eggs, for your first real farm breakfast.

The fresh garden produce is usually available from late spring to autumn and we can pick it fresh to order (the choice and range is obviously subject to seasonality).  Eggs, often still warm from the nest, the most amazing home-made ice cream, and a select range of dishes made from our own produce to provide some easy evening meals, are available all year round.  All our produce is available exclusively here on the farm. You won't find it in the shops.
